💧 Transform Your Water - Hydration Vibes
When the body needs water, our brains send the signal of thirst – an essential survival mechanism that maintains fluid balance.
💧 Having a pre-filled water bottle always on hand is one of the best habits we can practice to ensure proper hydration. However, even with the super sleek containers available today, most people still do not achieve adequate water intake. 👀
I love you water, but sometimes we’re all looking for something a little less…meh. The requisite lemon wedge is always nice, but we’re often left wanting more.
Every process in the body requires water, not enough, and you could face more than dehydration. Let’s explore some ways to jazz your water up a bit! Try these easy agua fresca recipes below.

🍓 Muddled Fruit
Soft fruit works best. A drink muddler is meant for this task [the kind they use to muddle fruit in glasses for mojitos], but you can also mash the fruit in a bowl, break it up with a fork, or use a mortar and pestle to gently break apart fruit. Try berries, pitted cherries, ripe nectarines or peaches, or even watermelon.
🌿Herbs:
Here are a few of my favorite combinations –combinations – chop just chop coarsely and muddle with fruit before adding liquids.
- Mint & Watermelon
- Basil & Peach
- Rosemary & Grapefruit
- Sage & Blackberry
- Lemon Verbena & Any Fruit
- Cilantro, Lime & Honeydew
💦 Liquid Base:
Herbal Tea - I love hibiscus for its gorgeous color and rich flavor. Steep four bags in a cup of boiling water to increase the intensity of flavor. My favorite brand is Republic of Tea.
Green Tea - Everything from matcha to yerba mate, it's all good. Be sure to select caffeinated varieties, as the health-promoting flavonoids are destroyed during the decaffeination process.
Lemon Tea - Add the rind from the lemon to 2 cups of boiling water. Simmer for 5 minutes, then let sit to infuse.
Ginger Tea - Peel and coarsely chop 2" piece of ginger and bring to a boil in two cups of water. Simmer for 5 minutes, then let sit to infuse.

🍋 Citrus:
Squeeze in to finish and add some slices for visual impact. Beautiful "Pretty Water"!
- Lime
- Lemon
- Orange
- Grapefruit
🥒 Add-Ins:
- Sparkling Water - Everyone loves a little fizz!
- Cucumber - Nothing screams refreshing, like cucumber! Just peel and process in a blender to puree. About ยฝ cucumber per drink works.
- Chia Seed - Add chia seeds to make a Chia Fresca! This seed holds more than 30x its weight in water and can help maintain hydration long after you have emptied your glass. Try adding 1 teaspoon to your glass and stir well. Let sit for 10 minutes before drinking.
- Stevia - Or a touch of agave for added sweetness

💦 Types of Infused Water Recipes
Here are a few of my favorite aqua fresca fruit infused water recipes.
Orange and Blueberry Great to Infuse In Muddled Water Recipes
This first pretty water agua fresca is very simple and made from just two ingredients – oranges and blueberries. The oranges are great, because citrus fruit will provide extra antioxidants and collagen to help firm up your skin and help it glow. That's why I love infused water for the skin.
In addition, the blueberries are not only filled with antioxidants, but also a superfood. Just add fresh slices of oranges and blueberries to the bottom of a pitcher, add ice, then pour in water and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours to allow the vitamins from the fruit to enter the water.
Spa Water Mix - Delicious Infused Water Recipe For The Skin
If you have ever been to a spa, you probably heard of cucumber water. This is a fresh, crisp tasting water that is not only refreshing in flavor, but also impressive for promoting healthy skin.
You can go one step further with the infused water by adding other ingredients that are good for your skin. For example, consider adding a little mint and some lemon to your muddle fruit water. The lemon can be squeezed into the water after the mint and cucumbers have infused. In addition, you can add lemon slices to it.
Infused Water With Raspberry & Herbs to Make Muddled Fruit Water
The outstanding thing about this fruit infused water is it is fruity, and you can customize it according to your preferences.
The main fruit in this infused water is raspberries, which contain vitamin C to allow for the natural formation of collagen, along with those antioxidants you should always have for your skin.
Raspberries also have anthocyanins, which will reduce inflammation or redness in your skin. Just some more added benefits of infused water. To add more flavor, you can also choose an herb, like basil or mint.
Fruity Cinnamon Water Recipe
This is the perfect fruit-infused water for the fall season, since it has some seasonal fruits, herbs, and cinnamon in it.
There are many combos you can use, but the base of the water includes apple, cinnamon, and just a little bit of mint. If you have access to them, you can add in some strawberries and lemon slices.
