  • Combine the coconut milk, turmeric, lemon juice, black pepper, salt, maple syrup, and ginger in a small bowl.
  • You can either add in the optional spices to add depth of flavor or simply omit.
  • Add some ice to a glass pitcher. Pour in the golden milk mixture over the ice. Fill the pitcher with the filtered water. Stir. Chill and enjoy.

Be sure to stir again after chilling it. The coconut milk and water tend to separate after sitting for awhile.
Feel free to strain the fresh ginger out before serving. I prefer to leave it in because of the added benefits that ginger provides the body.
If you are not used to the taste of turmeric, start with ½ teaspoon of ground turmeric.
Adjust the sweetener based on taste preference. Some individuals prefer a sweeter lemonade, so add more honey or maple syrup to your desired liking.
