Iโm willing to try this but unsure if would be safe for me because I have health issues. First, I have Parkinsonโs and have also been diagnosed with gastroparesis (so?) The diet they recommend is the complete opposite of the diet Iโve eaten for years which includes whole grains, fresh fruit and vegetables, nuts, etc. The diet for this condition is white bread, thoroughly cooked vegetables and fruits and all mushy stuff. Iโm told that PD slows most body functions down and gut and constipation issues can lead to complete paralysis of the digestive system and would require a aaall liquid diet or feeding tube.
On top of that Iโve been taking a ton of meds and Iโm sure that doesnโt help my gut to function well. I doubt flax seeds and lemon are harmful and would appreciate your opinion.

Those with gastroparesis should avoid seeds, including flax seeds. With gastroparesis, you should also eat less fiber and fats, so I would avoid adding the flax seeds to your diet. I also don't know your entire medical history, so it's best to show your personal physician any recipes before making any changes. I'm also sorry to hear that you are experiencing these health issues. Sending my thoughts and prayers that things improve for you.
