I know it can be hard when you're craving sweet drinks. Are you looking for a replacement for sugary sodas? I have compiled the perfect low-sugar drinks to help you combat your sugar cravings, including my mango infused water. Soda is one of the biggest sources of hidden sugars in our diet. Finding low-sugar alternatives to soda doesn't have to be tough. I can help you ditch the sugar with my mango water recipe.

A single can of soda contains 33 grams of sugar. However, if you’re used to chugging soda daily, making the transition to drinking only water can be challenging. That’s why in this post I’m going to be sharing some healthy, low sugar drink alternatives to soda that you can enjoy today.
Fruit Juice Spritzers Instead of Sugary Soda
Fruit juice spritzers are a wonderful place to start when quitting soda. They contain around a third of the sugar that you’ll find in a can of soda (12 grams of sugar per cup), taste sweet, and are carbonated. While fruit juice spritzers are probably not something you want to drink daily if you’re cutting back on sugar, they’re still a much better choice than soda.
To prepare a fruit juice spritzer, simply combine half a cup of your favorite fruit juice with half a cup of soda water, and enjoy. So, if you're looking for a low-sugar drink, try this one out.
Low-Sugar Smoothies
If you choose the right ingredients, you can easily create a low-sugar smoothie that contains less than 10 grams of sugar and still has a subtle sweet taste. The outstanding point about smoothies is that because they’re packed full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals, any sugar they contain will be released slowly into your bloodstream, so you won’t experience any of the energy surges and crashes that usually come with sugar consumption.
Try some of my low-sugar smoothie recipes. My favorites are chocolate raspberry bliss smoothie or good morning green smoothie.
Fruit-Infused Water is a Great Low Sugar Healthy Drink!
Fruit-infused water contains no sugar or calories, so this low sugar healthy drink is perfect if you’re on a sugar detox. It shares the same benefits as standard water, and will keep you hydrated, brighten your skin and enhance your energy levels. However, the fruit infusion gives it a subtle and sweet flavor, so if you find standard water too bland, give fruit-infused water a taste.
To prepare fruit-infused water, you’ll need a mason jar and a cup of two or three chopped fruits that you’d like to infuse into the water. Once you have the fruits ready, place them in the mason jar, fill it with water, and then allow it to infuse in the fridge for at least 24 hours.
Also, consider trying my peach ginger-infused water.
Fruit Tea is a Healthy Low Sugar Drink Idea
Like fruit-infused water, fruit tea contains zero calories and sugar, and is just as healthy as standard water. However, even without any sugar, it has a surprisingly strong, sweet, and satisfying flavor. This is perfect for when you are craving sweet drinks, instead reach for a low sugar fruit drink in the form of tea.
There are many fruit teas you can consider, and each has a unique flavor and offers different health benefits. Your local store should sell various fruit teas, so try a few different teas until you find a favorite. Some of my favorites are:
Coffee, Low-Sugar Drink
Coffee isn’t sweet, but it’s still tasty, hydrating, and contains no sugar. If you drink it instead of soda, you’ll cut out 33 grams of sugar per day.
To ensure your coffee contains no sugar, ask for no-sugar options when buying it in coffee shops. Try to drink it black or with unsweetened milk or milk alternatives.
For an amazing tasting beverage, consider this incredible infused water recipe below! It will cure that thirst for something sweet and keep you hydrated. I hope you discovered new delicious low sugar alternatives to soda.
