📖 Recipe
Avocado Deviled Eggs
Equipment
Ingredients
- 6 eggs
- ½ avocado
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lime, juice
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- 1 pinch black pepper, ground
Optional Toppings:
- cilantro, fresh
- onion, red (sliced or diced)
Instructions
- Boil the EggsPlace the eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover the pan, remove from heat, and let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes. Then, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool completely before peeling.
- Peel and Halve the EggsOnce the eggs are cool, gently peel off the shells and slice each egg in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop the yolks into a mixing bowl and set the egg whites aside.
- Make the Avocado FillingTo the bowl with the egg yolks, add the avocado, mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mash and mix everything together until smooth and creamy.
- Fill the Egg WhitesSpoon or pipe the avocado yolk mixture back into the hollow centers of each egg white.
- Garnish and ServeTop with your favorite garnishes like sliced red onion, fresh cilantro, or a sprinkle of paprika. Serve immediately or chill until ready to enjoy!
Hate Mayo?
- If you dislike mayo, leave it completely out and double the amount of avocado. The creamy texture from the avocado provides enough moisture to bind the deviled egg mixture.

🥑 Delicious Super Bowl Dip Recipes
It's time to start the party with delicious and flavorful dips. Try one of my classic dips below.
You can put out a platter of fresh vegetables, such as cucumber slices, carrot sticks, cherry tomatoes, sliced bell peppers, or celery sticks. The green goddess hummus recipe is my favorite dip recipe, and I make it a few times a month. Here are some of my Super Bowl meal ideas for delicious dips.
An excellent healthy chip you can consider is Siete grain-free tortilla chips. These are my absolute favorite grain-free chips. You can find them in most grocery stores nowadays, but if you can't find them, try Amazon.
If you are looking for higher fiber chips, try Beanitos black bean chips. These are not only gluten-free, corn-free, vegan, and a plant-based protein source.
Most supermarkets should carry these bean chips, but you can also find them on the Beanitos website or Amazon.
